Obituary

Rickey Lynn McCullough was born June 30, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Will Arthur McCullough, Jr. and Martha Ann Johnson. He was the only child of this union.

Rickey was educated in Dallas, Texas and completed his Graduate Education Diploma. Throughout his life he worked as a Chef in several restaurants and took great pleasure in preparing meals for family and friends. Rickey was passionate about his family, especially his nephews and nieces who lovingly called him, “Uncle.” He was the life of the party and never met a stranger. He enjoyed road trips and great music. Rickey had a green thumb and thoroughly enjoyed planting and gardening, music and dancing, along with caring for his personal “babies” fish and parakeets. Rickey received Christ as a young adult at Word of Faith Church in Farmers Branch, Texas.

Rickey is preceded in death by his father Will Arthur McCullough, grandparents, two brothers, and one sister. He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Martha Ann Johnson, two sisters Marie Ann Smith, Mary Elizabeth Gross; and one brother Ronald Wayne McCullough. Three special nephews, Zachary Smith, Christopher Smith, and Tevin Sparks; several aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
