Patricia Moon

“I Am Free” these words rung from her lips on the eve of her demise as she answered God’s heavenly call to rest on January 20, 2020. Patricia Diane Wiley -Moon born October 14, 1954 to the parentage of the late Willie L. Robinson (Majorie) and James Harris Jr. Pat grew up in the small town of Ferris, TX, developing a passion for hair early on. Pat’s knowledge of Christ began at an early age, being reared in the word at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church. She remained a faithful member serving wherever she could until her untimely demise. She obtained her education in Ferris ISD graduating in 1973. Soon after graduating, she became a licensed Cosmetologist and portrayed her gift at JC Penny, Sanger-Harris, Hair Time and Gregory’s Hair Salon. Over the years she accumulated numerous clients that became family. Pat never met a stranger; her infectious personality and smile made her impossible to forget. Many clung to her witty sense of humor and her love for all people. She was truly “One of a Kind”.  Pat was truly dedicated to her family, offering endless love, unwavering support, genuine care, and continuous prayers.

Pat leaves to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy, her loving husband of 23 years, James C. Moon Jr.;  daughters, Tiesha Wiley-Hicks (Min. Kortny D. Hicks) and Kamecia Pinson-Moon; Her Pride and Joy, Her granddaughters: Za’Karia, Ziyon, Zanai Hicks; Sister, Jaqueline Robertson; Aunt: Annie J. Chambers(Jimmy), Uncle: James Wiley(Cynthia) and Leonard Wiley(Lavern); God-children: Kiarian “Chocolate” Bailey, Scheree Williams and April Taylor; Special Cousin/Sister: Ida Mae Armstead; niece, Kisha Armstead-Burnett; nephew, Rev. LanTwan D. Armstead; mother-in-law, Pearline Moon; father-in-law, James C. Moon Sr.; sister-in-law, Wanda Hollis; brother-in-law, Joseph Moon(Shelia), and a host of family friends, and clients.

Pat was preceded in death by her Mother Willie L. Robinson (Majorie) and father James Harris Jr.
