Lee Jones

Lee Cleveland Jones was born September 19, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Kannie Johnson and Ruby Lee Jones. He later moved to Venice, CA where he resided until 1983, when he moved back to Dallas. Lee Cleveland better known as “PAPA” to all of his loved ones favorite pastimes watching sports, gardening, playing cards, good music, and spending time with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish in his memory loving wife Lawanda Jones. 3 daughters; Karen Jones (CA), Deshay Jones (CA), Kaleena Callier (TX); 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; 6 sisters Janell Jones (CA), Iranna Hamilton (Curtis)(CA), PK Kirby (TX), Jenny Tucker (MO), Evelyn Hyder (Micheal)(TX), Jeanette Webb (Charlie)(TX); 1 brother Kenneth Beckton (TX). Host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Presided in death by father Kannie Johnson and mother Ruby Lee Jones, brothers Clyde Jones and Willie Beckton , grandson Marquise Jackson.
