Dorothy Mae (Roquemore) Clinton

Obituary

Dorothy Mae Clinton was born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Foster Roquemore, Sr. on January 6, 1932 in Carthage, Texas. She was educated in Panola County Public School System and later received her  Nursing Certification from El Centro College in Dallas, Texas.

She was united in Holy Matrimony with Victor Clinton in 1967 and to this union two children were born - Demeteria and Franklin. Demeteria and Franklin rounded out the family which included older siblings Patsy, Timothy, John, Willie, Tarrance and Patrick (grandson).

A life-long healthcare worker, Sis. Clinton worked for Baylor Hospital for many years until being employed by Visiting Nurses Association. She retired from VNA after approximately 20 years of service.

Bro. Clinton, Patrick and Pat preceded Sis. Clinton in death. She leaves to cherish her memories: children-Timothy, John, Willie, Terry (Shirley), Demeteria (Michael) and Franklin; siblings- Barna Roquemore, Sr. (Pam) of Ft. Worth, TX., Sandra Weatherall of Mesquite, TX., Edna Harris (Clyde) of Denver, CO., Petruna Tisdale(Ernest) of Aurora, CO., Jodi Jones (Bargany) of Camden, AR., Victor's youngest brother Kery Clinton of Round Rock, TX. and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
