Carol Ann Luckey Obituary

Carol Ann Luckey of Crandall, TX at the age of 60, passed away on Thursday, February 28th, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Carol was born to Calvin and Phyllis Gardner on November 4, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas.  She was the third of six siblings.  Carol was fiery and full of life, she brought humor to all her siblings.  She loved hard and that not only showed to her siblings but on to her sons, and to her grandchildren.  She worked hard to provide for her family, even going back to school later in life to earn her associates degree to promote her self in the industry she was in.  At times using her seamstress skills to not only provide for her family, but to also bless others.

Carol is survived by her husband and love of her life, Curtis Luckey, Sr., son Tony Gardner (wife Felicia Gardner, grandson Joseph Hampton, Jr., granddaughter Daisy Gardner and great-granddaughter Allyson Hampton, great-grandsons Jedidiah, Jadon and Jeriah Soto), son Daniel Gibson (wife Tonya Gibson, grandson Christopher Gibson), son Jesse Rodriguez (granddaughters Samara and Elizabeth Rodriguez, grandson Sean Rodriguez), son Curtis Luckey, Jr. (wife Toshiya Luckey, grandson Maijer Luckey).  Siblings Margie Harris, Barbara Danforth and husband Jim, Calvin Gardner, Jr., and Linda West and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins that all love her dearly.  Proceeded in death by her parents Calvin Gardner and Phyllis Gardner and brother Robert ‘Bobby’ Gardner.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Parkland Neurological ICU in Dallas, TX for the care they provided during her last days here on earth.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Pathway of Life Church, 8510 Military Parkway, Dallas, TX.
