Arthur Morris Nixon Obituary

Arthur Morris Nixon was born to the parentage of the late Holland Nixon, Sr. and Evelyn Nixon.  He was educated in the Madisonville County School District and later moved to Dallas County, TX where he began his career as a Licensed Commercial Operator.  He then ventured into entrepreneurship and became a successful business owner by operating his own small business, Arthur Nixon Trucking.  He was known and admired by many in the local commercial driving industry and community.  He was a true sports enthusiast and enjoyed various sporting events and spending quality time with his loving wife as well as his family and friends.

Mr. Nixon was preceded in death by his son, Arthur Morris Nixon, Jr. and siblings: Wiley Nixon, Holland Nixon Jr., Minnie B. Bailey and Timothy Nixon.

He leaves to cherish his memory:  his wife, Jacqueline Sue Nixon; Son: Cleotra Sherwood Sr. (Linda); Grandchildren: Stephanie Williams (Orlando); LaCresha Brown (Lonnie); Cleotra Sherwood, Jr. (Tawana) and Arthur Marquis Sherwood (KeyYochie); Katina Carter (Charlie); 14 great grandchildren; Siblings: Penny Matchett; Giley Griffin (James, deceased); Matilda Stanley and Gerline Powers (Seguin); Sister in Law: Caroline Nixon as well as a host of dear family and friends.
