Wefter Session Jr., who passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. Born on October 18, 1958, in Rusk, Texas, to Wefter Session Sr. and Glenda Bradley, Wefter was a proud son of East Texas, rooted in a large and loving family where faith, resilience, and joy were cornerstones of life.
Wefter was a man whose presence could light up a room—a truly jolly soul with a heart as big as his laughter. He never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms and a warm spirit. Whether you were family or friend—or even just someone passing by—Wefter made you feel seen, valued, and loved.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Wefter was the rock of his family. He was a real man in every sense of the word—strong, steady, and deeply spiritual. He changed, directed, and guided those he loved with unwavering commitment and compassion, setting an example that will live on for generations.
Professionally, Wefter had a passion for big rigs. He worked hard and took pride in his craft, often behind the wheel of the massive trucks that were both his livelihood and his joy. His work ethic was unmatched, and he carried that same drive into every aspect of his life.
Wefter is survived by his loving wife, Helene Session, and his sons Terrence Lee Boyd, Tony Rubin, and daughter Erica Boyd, along with numerous other beloved family members, grandchildren, siblings, relatives, and extended family who will cherish his memory forever.
His life was a testament to kindness, strength, and faith—and while he may no longer walk among us, the love he gave and the lessons he taught will continue to shape our lives.
We take comfort in knowing that Wefter Session Jr. is now resting in the arms of the Lord he loved so deeply. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we carry forward his legacy with the same warmth, courage, and joy that he brought into this world.
Rest in peace, Wefter. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
