Wanda Jean Murphy was born December 08, 1948 to Andrew and Gracie Williams of Tatum, Texas. She attended Mayflower High School where she participated in track, basketball, and played trombone in the school band. Wanda became a truck driver her handle was the “Diesel Queen”. She drove for FFE (Frozen Food Express), J Lines, W.M. Bussey Trucking and Owner of Wanda Murphy Sand and Gravel.

She leaves to cherish her memory Daughters: Eumeka Hellinger (Jeremy), Sharonda Murphy; Son, Adrian Mendoza (Renee); Grandchildren: Gracelyn Richardson, Elijah Mendoza, Jaxon Mendoza, Addison Mendoza, Ariana Hellinger and Julian “Isaiah” Hellinger; Uncle: Grady Watkins (Patricia); Aunt: Roberta “Whoopa Lee”; Brother: Lee Williams (Velma), Sister-in-law: Diane Williams (Neal); Special Niece: Mildred Harkless, Nieces: Sheila Edwards (Terrell), Katrina Harkless, Martha Reed, Tiffany Williams, Candace Wilson; Nephews: Stacy Williams, Tracy Williams, Travis Williams (Tamesha), Brandon Williams (Vesha), Kevin Williams, Mark Williams, Tony Murphy, Kennedy Murphy Sr., Grant Davis; Like a Daughter: Kelley Sanders; Special Great Nephew Kennedy Murphy Jr.; Cousins: Doreen “Pep” Wallace (Luke), and a host of Great nieces and nephews.
