Life and Legacy of Vincent Demion Wiley Sr. aka Bird

Vincent Wiley aka Bird was born on February 9, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Clarence Sr. and Antoinette Wiley. He was one of seven children born to their union: Clarence Wiley Jr., Willie Wiley, Melneice Wiley Hill, Stanley Wiley Sr., Tyrant Wiley Sr., and Demetrice Wiley.

At an early age, Vince accepted Christ and began his Christian journey at Griggs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. His faith remained an important part of his life, and he was known for his strong belief in God and his willingness to share God's Word with family and friends.

Vince later entered holy matrimony with Brenda Woods. To this union, one child was born, his beloved son, Vincent Wiley Jr.

Vince attended Dallas Public Schools and was a proud graduate of Skyline High School. He was a hardworking and skilled man who spent many years working as a professional auto mechanic.

He later joined his older brother in the family business, T. Wiley Asphalt & Paving. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Vince eventually established several contract businesses of his own.

Among his many endeavors, he provided power-washing services for 7-Eleven store parking lots and paving services for numerous school and cemetery parking lots.

Beyond his work, Vince will be remembered for his beautiful personality, generous spirit, and strong sense of faith. He enjoyed meaningful conversations about the Bible and loved sharing God's Word with those around him. He also enjoyed fishing, grilling, and bringing people together. His home was often a place where family and friends gathered to enjoy good food, fellowship, laughter, and one another's company.

Vince was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Antoinette Wiley; his brothers, Stanley Wiley Sr., Demetrice Wiley, Willie Wiley, Tyrant Wiley Sr.; nephew, Stanley Johnson Wiley; sisters-in-laws, Clara and Jeanette; brother-in-law, Timothy Hill Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved son, Vincent Wiley Jr.; his brother, Clarence Wiley Jr.; his sister, Melneice Wiley Hill; sisters-in-law, Nadine and Hope; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Though his earthly journey has come to an end, Vince's memory, love, laughter, faith, and the many lives he touched will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
