In Loving Memory of Steven McGhee

Steven McGhee was born in Dallas, Texas, to Eltee McGhee and Amerline Wheeler McGhee. From an early age, Steven was surrounded by family, love, and the values that would guide him throughout his life.

Steven began his early education in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, before continuing his high school education through the Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD).

Throughout his professional life, Steven was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment to his family. He spent 20 years with Empire Trucking, followed by 24 years with IMC. Through his many years of employment, Steven built lasting relationships and earned the respect of those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Family was an important part of Steven's life. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Patrick Battee McGhee; his mother, Amerline McGhee; his sisters, Vera McGhee and Wanda K. Miller; his daughters, Kimberly (Stephone) Lockett and Crystal (Twaun) Miles; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Eltee McGhee, and brothers, Eltee McGhee Jr. and Dwight McGhee.

Though Steven's earthly journey has come to an end, his love, memories, and the impact he made on his family and friends will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

May his memory forever be a blessing, and may he rest peacefully in the arms of eternal love.
