Sam Houston

Sam Ervin Houston was born May 7, 1955, to the parentage of Arthur Roseburgh and Frankie Houston. On July 18, 2022, after a brief illness, Sam was called home to be with the Lord.

Sam was a graduate of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School and had an extensive career as a Sheet Metal Machinist.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Houston and three siblings, Victor Houston, Winnie Bell, Verna Bell.

Sam leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Deborah Houston of Dallas, Texas; Daughter Letricia Shedd of Cedar Hill, TX; Daughter Shonte Houston of Houston, Texas: Grand Daughter Kele Nwanju of Cedar Hill, Texas; Brother Darryl Houston of Fort Worth, Texas; Brother John Bell of California; Sister Delane Bell of California; Sister Nichelle Howard of Oakland, California; Brother Dexter Bell of Oakland California; Brother Donnie Howard of Oakland, California, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
