Ronald Johnson

Ronald Earl Johnson, age 59, passed away in Dallas, TX on May 28, 2022.

Ron was born June 16, 1962 in Tyler, TX to Robert Earl Johnson and Shirley Ruth Johnson. Ron and his family moved from Tyler to Dallas when he was a young child, and Dallas became his hometown. Growing up with four siblings made for a very busy household. Ron graduated from James Madison High School. After school he enlisted in the United States Army. He served his country and found his culinary talent as a cook for hundreds of men. After leaving the army he continued using his skills as a cook. Ron always took pride in being a sharp dresser, and was always quick with a smile

Ron is survived by his mother, Shirley Johnson, brothers Dewye Jiles (Linda), Lewye Jiles (Lisha), Fred Johnson (Charlotte), sister Wanda July, daughters LaShanda Shaw, LacQuana Shaw, Tawana Bryant (Will), eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his grandson Triston Bradley and father Robert Johnson.
