Robin Lamont Chism, 51, of Dallas, Texas, died at Baylor Scott & White in Sunnyvale, Texas on March 18, 2026. He was born on November 14, 1974, in Dallas, TX, the youngest child of the late Chief Chism Jr. and Ruby Lee Chism.
Rob received his education through the Dallas Independent School District where he was to graduate from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1992. While in school, he took an interest in pencil artistry where he created amazing realistic drawings using graphite pencils. Rob received his commercial driver’s license and started a career as a truck driver and held a couple of jobs over the past 5 years. His final driving job was with Dart Handi -Ride Transportation. Rob was known for his quick wit, and witty banter among family and friends. He found joy in cheering on the Dallas Cowboys football team and gatherings with family and friends. He had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, and his jokes could lighten any situation. Although he did not attend church on a regular basis, he deeply loved the Lord and often expressed his faith in quiet, meaningful ways.
Rob was predeceased by his parents, Chief Chism Jr. and Ruby Lee Chism and a sister Brenda Hill Morris. He is survived by 3 brothers, Derrick Hill, Michael Chism (Mary), and Rickey Chism (Helen), 3 sisters, Juanita Chism, Sheneca Dearman (Bobby-deceased) and Tina Doss, numerous nieces and nephews who adored their uncle Rob, and close bond with 4 nephews, Derrick Jarret, Antwan Hill, Cornelius Dearman and Ashton Johnson.
