Ms. Pauline Johnson, the ninth of ten children, was born to the late Lorenzo Johnson and Sarah McDonald Johnson in Wills Point, Texas on May 20, 1926. Her parents, brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Pauline was a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama. She retired from the Little Sisters of the Poor after many years of dedicated service. Upon retirement, Ms. Johnson returned to Texas and settled in South Dallas where she was a cherished elder in her community. She was a devoted member of St. Paul Methodist Church.
Pauline leaves to cherish in her memory a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. One sister-in-law, Jessie Johnson of Kansas City, MO. Several devoted nieces and nephews, Albert (Margaret) Shaw, David (Anne) Shaw, Sarah Shaw Rogers, Easter Yancy, Brindel (Leon) Tynes, Phillip Johnson all of Dallas, Texas and Paula Hart of Kansas City, Missouri. Devoted neighbors, Mary Roswell and family, Pam and Allen Spillman and family and Renee Jeffery and family.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 24, 2012 from 12:00-6:00pm
