Norantha Mae Pates (Tear) was born March 8, 1937 to the parentage of the late Bennie Lee and Jessie Lee Pates in Thornton, TX.
She was educated in the Groesbeck School District and accepted Christ at an early age.
She was employed at Cary Products in Hutchins, TX and retired after years of service.
One brother, Clayton Peterson and one nephew, Kenneth Pates preceded her in death.
Those to cherish her memories; one brother, George E. Pates, Bristol, TX; one sister, Delorice J. Pates, Ferris, TX; five nieces, Norine Johnson (Willie), Rowlett, TX, Celestine Jackson (Eugene), Clara Brooks (Earnest), Helen Andrews all of Dallas, TX , Lula Bennett (Arthur) of Houston, TX; one nephew, Rickey Stafford, Dallas, TX; special great niece, Tara Murray, Ferris, TX and special great nephew, Corey Murray, Garland, TX and a host of other loving relatives.
