Narcie Mae Fields, 95, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at her home in Dallas, Texas. She was born on May 9, 1930 in Fort Worth, Texas to Floyd Richard and Lottie (Conner) Richard.
Narcie grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She was educated through the Fort Worth Independent School District and attended Dunbar High School. She served her community through domestic work for over 60 years. In addition to her many roles Narcie was the heart of her household she managed her home with strength, grace, and tireless devotion always making sure her family was well cared for. Narcie also always had an open door and helping hand for anyone that was in need or needed support. She was united with the IBOC Church under the leadership of Pastor Ricky Rush. She loved to travel, sporting events especially football, and going to the casino.
Narcie was preceded in death by her son, Grover Lawrence Richard; parents, Floyd and Lottie Richard; sisters, Jurene Yarbrough, Freda Lewis, and Helen Hall; brothers, Fad Richard, Willie Mathis Richard, David Wayne Richard, and Eugene Richard.
Those left to cherish Narcie’s memories are her daughters, Deadrie Richard, Octavia McCulloch, Delores Simon; sons, Jack Richard (Yolanda), Richard Fields (Bobbie), Kelvin Fields (Marie), Dale Richard (Vanessa), Darryl Richard (Shon), and Gary Richard (Gail); 26 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 22 great great grandchildren; and a host of cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Lincoln Funeral Home (8100 Fireside Drive, Dallas, Texas 75217), on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11AM with interment to follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at Lincoln Funeral Home on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 5PM-7PM.
