Maxel Charles was born on June 6, 1954 in Dallas, County to the parentage of Ruautha Malone and Ruby Lee Bryant. Maxel was preceded in death by both parents.
"Woodte" as he was affectionately called by family and close friends, attended the Dallas Independent School District and graduated from W. W. Samuel. He attended college at Cooke County.
Maxel confessed Christ as his Savior and was baptized at an early age. Maxel married the former Deborah Moore in 1980 and to this union one child was born, Maxi Yvette Malone. He retired from the City of Dallas in 2009 after more than thrity years of service. Maxel was a licensed irrigator and business owner of Maxel's Sprinkler System.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Maxi Malone (Danzel); former wife and special friend Deborah Moore-Malone; three siblings, Patricia Johnson, Larry Bryant (Debra), Bettie Bryant; four uncles, Maxel Bryant, Paul Bryant (Jean). Michael Bryant, Donald Ray Bryant (Freddie); two aunts, Maxine Pittman and Marjorie Hunter all of Dallas and a host of other relatives and friends.
