Maurine House Fritz was born on June 18, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to Bernice and Alvin House.
She received her High School diploma from L. G. Pinkston High School. Maurine received Christ at an early age at Greater Mt. Macedpnia Baptist Church, and later became a member of Greater Mt. Olive COGIC.
Later she was united in marriage to Truman Fritz of Goldring, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Truman, her brother, Jerry House and her sister Charlotte House.
She was a faithful and willing worker in the church; she sung in the choir, she was president of the Deaconess Board, a YPWW leader, and a member of the prayer band.
She was loved and cherished by many, and brought a smile to everyone she came in contact with.
She leaves to cherish: 3 sisters, Janie Washington (Samuel), LaWanda Wells, Sharon House; 3 brothers, Donald Ray House, her twin Maurice House, Cecil Wayne House and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation: 12-6pm Friday, February 3, 2012 at Lincoln Funeral Home.
Service: 11am Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Lincoln Funeral Home Chapel.
