Mrs. Marian Livingston was born on January 27, 1954 to Garland Davis and Harriet Hardin in Morrilton, Arkansas. Later her family moved to Kansas City, Kansas where Marian received her formal education through the Kansas City, Kansas Board of Education of Unified Schools in nineteen hundred seventy-two. Upon graduation Marian Livingston moved to Kansas City, Missouri.
Marian Livingston accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. When Marian Livingston moved to Kansas City, Missouri, she attended Faith Mission where Elder Lambert was pastor. She served as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord.
Marian was employed in the Dallas Independent School District where she served as a Special Education Teacher for 18 years before retiring in 2017. Some of her hobbies and interest were serving in the church; doing prison ministry. Cooking some of her favorite dishes, there was nothing that she could not cook. She enjoyed time with her family, traveling or just driving down the road with her husband while playing and singing along to the Canton Spirituals. She enjoyed writing down different quotes for inspirations. Marian also enjoyed gardening and fixing up her home; she was a beautiful home maker and decorator.
Marian Livingston was truly blessed. She was born on January 27, 1954 and departed this life on January 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving father Garland Davis and mother Harriet Hardin Davis, sisters Mae Bell Davis and Flora Smith, brothers Floyd Davis, Reese Davis, Douglas Davis, and Cleophus Davis. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband George Livingston of 38 years. Her two sons- Joel Livingston and Paul Livingston. Step daughters Retha and Jessica Livingston; Stepson John Livingston. Her sisters, Hygia Patrick of Lewisville, TX, Georgia Jones (Bill) of Malvern, AR;Brothers, Charles Davis (Dorothy), Audrey (Flossie Jean) of Kansas City, MO, Abel Davis (Theresa) of Kansas City, MO and Jerry and Terry Davis of Menifee, AR; Granddaughter Amari Gia Julianna Granados Uppal of Prosper, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
