Lula Mae Rasberry, known as Mama, Nanny and Gran Gran was born July 8, 1931 to the union of the late Earnest and Katie Ferrell in Wortham, TX.
At a young age Lula moved to Dallas, TX where she later married Leon Rasberry (Papa) her beloved husband of 50 years. Together they raised their four children Thomas, Timothy, Evelyn and Renee.
She attended Greater Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, but later moved her membership to Bon Air Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a self-employed entrepreneur. Her joy came in being with and raising her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lula loved her children dearly.
She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters Evelyn and Renee, two brothers, 7 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
