Lee Ardis Hatten, Sr was born July 10, 1940 to Viola Hatten and Ray Hatten in Avinger, Texas.
Lee attended school in Hughes Springs, Texas. He was married 35 years to the late Vivian Hatten, from which their were four children. He drove semi trucks over 45 years. A witty man who could always make you laugh. A simple man of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Hatten; father Ray Hatten; mother, Viola Hatten; brother William Ray Haten, Jr. sister Zelma Jimmerson; and brother Leon Hatten.
Lee leaves behind his loving companion, Athalen Daye; daughter Karen Taylor; daughter Sharen Waites (Lewis); son Lee Hatten, Jr.(Sheena); son Ivan Horsley; brother Johnny Hatten; sister Idonia Horsley; 9 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
