La Shonda's Life Story:

La Shonda Renee Howard was born on February 13,1976 in Dallas Texas, to S. Howard and Bobbie Joe Lewis (A. Salahuddin) “Pepper”.

La Shonda accepted Christ at an early age and followed Christ throughout her life.

“Twin” received her public-school education in Irving ISD and graduated from MacArthur High School. She enjoyed being a Trumpet player in the Symphony and Marching Band, in which she was 1st chair. She continued playing through adult hood. Shonda was very athletic playing basketball, volleyball, and participated in track and field where she enjoyed the 400-meter dash and 4x4 relay placing in District. La Shonda continued her education and received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from varies universities.

Lashonda worked for Allstate Insurance Company for many years but left her final footprints with North Texas Food Bank and Veritix in her field of study - Human Resources.

Through her journey in this life La Shonda found love and marriage.

La Shonda was preceded in death by her grandparents William Meadows, and Jannie Lewis, Her father A. Salahuddin, brother Ismail Salahuddin. She also had a “Motherly Love” for her unborn babies she loss.

Those to whom La Shonda’s memory will forever live; Mother Bobby Joe Lewis “Pepper” as she would fondly call her, “Twin” La Shaun Howard-Weston (Tyroid), brother Imran Salahuddin, stepsisters

Saleemah Smith, Akilah Sabir “Rose”, LaDorsche Hatton; nephews Zacchaeus “Zach” Llorens; Carlos Avery Jr., niece Constance Avery, her special Auntie Helen Larkin (Gregory), and host of other relatives and friends.
