Benedictory Prayer

Heavenly Father,

As we come to the close of this service, we thank You for the life of Kenneth Byrd. We thank You for the years You blessed him with, for the memories he created, for the work of his hands, and for the love he shared with his family and those around him.

Lord, we know Kenneth was a hard worker, a father, an entrepreneur, and a man who lived life in his own unique way. We thank You for every laugh, every conversation, every memory, and every moment that his family will carry in their hearts.

Father, we ask that You especially strengthen his children, Kristina, Kasondra, Michael, Samantha, and Kenneth Jr., and surround them with Your love and peace. When they miss their father, remind them of the memories they shared and the legacy he left behind.

Give the family strength for the days ahead. Give them peace when their hearts are heavy, comfort when they feel his absence, and courage to continue moving forward while carrying his memory with them.

Your Word reminds us, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” We thank You for Kenneth’s journey, and we pray that his family will find comfort knowing that his earthly work is finished and his legacy continues through those he loved.

May Your grace cover this family. May Your peace remain with them. May You guide them, protect them, and hold them close in the days ahead.

And now, as we leave this place, let us not leave Kenneth’s memory behind. Let us carry his love, his laughter, his hard work, and his legacy with us.
