Josephus Cooks

I was born April 5, 1928, in Winona, Texas. My father preceded me in death, and I was born to Dezzie Choice and she raise me and my siblings; Ophelia Spencer, Hattie Lee Brooks, Lawrence Cooks, Dorothy Mae Cooks Harden, and Elbert Cooks, who all preceded me in death.

On March 15, 1948, I married Willie Mae Crowder of Tyler, Texas, and to our union was born 2 daughters; Joda Bell(Tommy deceased), Judy Cooks(deceased); and a son Willie Paul (Teresa) Cooks. I have 8 grandchildren and 11 known great grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
