Johnny Roberson

Johnny was born in Frierson, Louisiana to Fern and Amie Roberson. He was raised in a household of 9 brothers and sisters. He worked for DISD for many years before retiring.

Johnny was a lover of family and friends and outdoors sports. He had a great love for fishing and hunting, and was famous for his ability to barbeque and smoke meats to perfection. He was well loved within the neighborhood and a frequent visitor at Rochester Park where he laughed and joked with friends while enjoying the waves of the water and breeze coming from the lake.

Johnny was very good to everyone and a listening ear if needed. When speaking he was very sweet but short and to point. He would never tip toe around any situation.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents Fern and Amy Roberson. He is survived by his wife, Mary Roberson and two children Kimberly Mitchell and Johnny Roberson Jr. (Carla), and a host of grand and great-grand, children as well as many nieces and nephews.
