Jimmy Groves Jr.

Jimmy Groves Jr., A.K.A. “Lotti Dotti” was born on November 9, 1965 in Doddsville, Mississippi to the late Jimmy Groves Sr. and Eula Mae Groves. He was the eldest son out of 10 children. Jimmy confessed a hope in Christ at a young age. On May 2, 2009, he was joined in Holy Matrimony to Rachael E.House, they were together 20 years. Jimmy was a member of New Holy Trinity where he was a singer in the male chorus. He loved singing. His favorite pastime was being with family and friends, cooking, laughing and sharing stories of his life. He was employed with DFW Airport for many years. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jackquline Groves Kemp. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Rachael; mother -in-law, Edna Brown; 6 sisters, Roberta Aldridge, Linda Penny, Kamari Palmer, April Stigler, Doris Spicer and April Shaw; 3 brothers, Timothy Groves, James D. Groves, and Charles Clark; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
