Idelia Page was born in Wilmer, Texas to the parents of Jessie James Simpson and Carrie Lowe Simpson.
She attended school at Wilmer-Hutchins Elementary.
She accepted Christ at an early age and later attended church at Progressive Baptist Church under the late Rev. William Spears, pastor. Her first marriage was to Edward Hunnicutt and they produced two sons, Edward and James Hunnicutt. She later married Joseph Page. To this union four children were born, June Page, Sandra Page, Kathie Page and Dwight Page.
She was preceded in death by parents: Jessie James and Carrie Simpson; two daughters, June Page and Kathie Page; one sister and one brother, Willie Mae Lockett and Lovie Thomas.
Left to survive: Three children, two sons and one daughter, James Barber (Rosa), Dwight Page, Sandra Page; one sister, Joyce Dorsey and a host of granddaughters, great granddaughters, nieces and nephews on both side of the family.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 26, 2012 from 12:00-6:00pm at Lincoln Funeral Home.
