Helen Clark Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this life on September 29, 2025. She was born on November 18, 1949, in Louisiana, to the late Johnny and Martha Clark. Helen graduated from Magnolia High School, where her warmth and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met. In 1969, she married her childhood sweetheart, Zedie Davis, whom she had known since the second grade. That same year, the couple moved to Dallas, Texas, where they began their beautiful life together.
Their union was blessed with two daughters, the late Amy Davis and Tonia Davis, who were the pride and joy of Helen’s life. Helen’s legacy of love continues through her grandchildren: Victoria, Alexandria, Charles, and Johnathon — children of Amy; and Tea’Auna, Lana Marie, Arthur, Maxx, and Rod’Driauna — children of Tonia. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Mya, Langston, Emmanuel, Bryson, Princeton, Kassidy, Violett, Lonzo, Summer, Santana, Axel, and Atlas. Helen found joy in her family, always offering love, wisdom, and a warm meal to everyone who entered her home.
