Fred Williamson Jr. was born on June 3, 1929 in Corsicana, Texas to the parents of the late Fred Williamson Sr. and Floy L. Hamilton- Williamson. Also preceding him in death is brother David Williamson and sister Florence Asher.
After graduating from Cartwright High School, Fred was drafted into the US Army where he served more than 7 years of service.
He worked for various companies such as St. Michael church, Channel 39 Television station and Redman Mobile Home where he retired. During his retirement he became a DISD school crossing guard which he loved.
He leaves to cherish his memories:
His devoted wife of 59 years Lenora Shamlin-Williamson, One brother Phillip Williamson, Two Sisters Grace Thomas and Vernon Pervis, Two sons Larry Williamson and Fred Williamson III (Crystal), Two daughters Marilyn Williamson (Bobby) and Debra Jones (Vernon), A special person Kenneth Jackson (Sara), Twelve Grandkids, Eighteen Great Grandkids, Four Great Great Grandkids, Devoted brother and sister-in-law, Loyal friend Leon Farmer, Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and loving friends who loved him.
