Emma Lee Harrison (Jackie) was born January 16, 1928 in Tyler, Texas. She was the first of three children born to the parentage of the Orbin Harrison and the late Rose Ann Wideman (Allen).



After graduating from Lincoln High School. She later atended Madam C.J. Walker Beauty School and Huston-Tillotson College and became a professional beautician and owned her salon for many years called "Harrison Beauty Shop" She shampooed and styled hair for over 60 years, even until her death.



She joined Golden Gate Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. C.B.T. Smith and was a faithful and devoted usher on the church usher board for over 50 years. She later became a member of Greater Golden Gate under the pastorate of Rev. Fabian K. Jacko.



She is preceded in death by both parents; stepfather, Charlie Allen; brother, Arbin Harrison.



She leaves to cherish her memories: Brother, James Harrison; one aunt Versie Hilliard; nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
