Edna Mae Browder was born on July 23, 1938, in Wilmer, Texas to Davie and Ruthie Allen. She accepted Christ at an early age and followed Christ throughout her life. She was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church, New St. Paul Baptist Church, and most recently Antioch Baptist Church all of Dallas.

Edna was a hard worker and a loyal employee of the McDowell/ Bell family until her retirement. Edna enjoyed traveling, being a member of the Red Hat Society, and watching college and professional football. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends at the West Dallas Community Center. Edna especially enjoyed her butterfly and rooster collections.

Edna was a kind and sharing individual, willing to help however she could. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend. She will be sadly missed and loved by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, R.B. Moore, Sr. She is survived by sons, Roderick Choice (Faye), David Browder and daughter, Lisa Robinson (Timothy); Sisters, Merdith Thomas, and Betty Anderson; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends.
