Eddie Sora, Jr. was born October 3, 1925 to the parentage of Eddie Sr. and Ora Sora.
Mr. Sora grew up in Ferris, Texas. He attended and graduated from Dunbar High School. He worked for National Casket Company. He accepted Christ at an early age with the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church where he was a faithful member until the Lord called him home. He served in many auxiliaries: Deacon Board, Sunday School teacher, Bible class teacher, Mission teacher and Church Clerk.
Eddie married the love of his life, Ms. Eunice Mae Lackey (Sora) March 26, 1944. They were married 68 years. To this union, five children were born, Ora, Alice, Bruce Sr., Dexter, and Renee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Sr. and Ora Sora; 1 great grandson, Frederick Lewis.
He leaves to forever cherish his precious memories: his lovely wife, Eunice M. Sora; 5 precious children, Patricia (fiance, Doug), Marie (Fred), Bruce (Carmen), Dexter (Shamice), Renee (Thomas); 13 grandchildren, Eric, Lashun, Kimberlee, Bruce Jr., Christopher, Adrian, Dewayne, Roderick, Eunica, Alicia, Alexia, Tahara, Nicole; 15 great grandchidren and a host of other relatives and friends.
