Dorothy Leffall Stafford was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on September 11, 1933 to the parents of Burnett & Nettie Leffall. She was the second of four children.

Dorothy was humble, kindhearted and soft spoken. She loved the Lord, her husband and her family. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and taking weekend trips with friends. Above all she loved welcoming guest to her home where no one was ever a stranger. She made you feel as though you were part of the family and that love never changed. Dorothy also loved family gatherings for birthdays, anniversaries, holiday dinners which were held at their home most of the time. No matter how limited the space, she still had room and love for all. The larger the numbers, the greater her smile.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Burnett and Nettie Leffall, brother Felton Leffall, sister Sarah King and daughter Macy Jackson.
