In Loving Memory of Evangelist Diann Anderson We Give Thanks and Praise to God for Her Life

Evangelist Diann Anderson was born in Dallas, Texas, on August 19, 1957, to Choice Grady Anderson and Maggie Harris Anderson. At an early age, Diann accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, beginning a lifelong walk of faith and devotion. She was baptized at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. R. M. Bell, where her spiritual foundation was firmly rooted.

A proud Dallas native, Diann graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in Hutchins, Texas, in 1975. She furthered her education by pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Bishop College in Dallas, Texas, and later pursuing a degree in Communications from Mountain View College. Her passion for sharing God’s word led her to answer a higher calling. In March 2000, she was certified as an Evangelist Teacher through Christ Holy Sanctified Church of America, Inc., in Fort Worth, Texas, under the leadership of Bishop B. R. Brown. She was also affiliated with Our Daily Bread Ministries in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Diann’s life was a living testimony of faith, compassion, and service. With a truly surrendered heart, she devoted her life to ministry throughout Dallas County, faithfully answering God’s call wherever she was needed. She did not simply serve—she poured into people. Through her prayers, her presence, her words of encouragement, and her unwavering love for Christ, she touched and uplifted countless lives. Many may never know her name, but they will forever carry the imprint of her kindness, her wisdom, and the light of God she so freely shared.

Evangelist Diann Anderson was preceded in death by her father, Choice Grady Anderson, in January 1968.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her beloved mother, Maggie L. Anderson of Dallas, Texas; her brother, Minister Danny C. (Patti) Anderson of Houston, Texas; her special nephews, Danny C. Anderson II of Katy, Texas, and Daniel C. (Tatum) Anderson of Boston, Massachusetts; her nieces, Deanna R. Anderson of Katy, Texas, and Dehlia Anderson-Young of Ellicott City, Maryland; her special cousins, Maylene (Vernon) Washington of Dallas, Texas, Gennell Bowie of Los Angeles, California, and Mary Ann (Charles) Badger of Fort Worth, Texas; along with a host of other beloved cousins, dear friends, and all those whose lives were forever changed by her ministry and love.

Though she has taken her rest, her legacy of faith, service, and unconditional love will continue to live on—through her family, through the many lives she touched, and through the countless souls she led closer to Christ. Well done, thy good and faithful servant.
