Obituary

Deloris Jean Ingram, a beautiful bundle of joy, was the youngest blessing born to Johnnie and Nodie Ingram on February 26, 1950.

Deloris accepted Christ at an early age at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and continued throughout her life to have a love for the Lord. Deloris received her formal education at Dallas ISD and graduated from Booker T. Washinton High School on May 31, 1968. After graduation Deloris was employed by Texas Instruments for several years and later, she had a desire to share her love for beauty and people with the community. Deloris was a licensed Cosmetologist and Barber Stylist until she retired. She also had a green thumb and a love for plants and flowers.

Deloris was blessed with a gorgeous baby girl, Toya Rochelle on January 9, 1971, and she loved, nurtured, and devoted herself to her.

Deloris was proceeded in death by both of her parents Johnnie and Nodie Ingram. She was also proceeded in death by her beloved sister Johnetta Ingram.

Deloris leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy, her loving and caring daughter Toya Proctor of Dallas, Texas, her only grandchild Cedric Hannah of Dallas, Texas; one brother Johnnie Ingram of Dallas, Texas, three sisters Joann Marshall (Luther) of Dallas, Texas, Elouise Sanders of Desoto, Texas and Patricia Williams of Louisiana.
