David Lloyd Allison was born in Dallas,Texas on September 18,1956 to the parentage of Floyd Allison and Ceola Lovely Allison. Both parents have preceded him in death.
David began his walk of faith at an early age at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Joppa. He remained a member until he joined Focus on Jesus Bible Ministries under the leadership of the late Reverend Steven B. Dodd. David received his education from Wilmer Hutchins Independent School District. After completing his education David met and married Sandra Kaye Ellison He now joins her in eternal rest.
This simplest things brought David great joy. He loved an evening with friends and family; He found beauty in watching children play; He loved music of all genres; He loved spring flowers. He said the flowers reminded him of his mother when the bloomed on Sunday mornings, he enjoyed walking to church. David loved his family, the Dallas Cowboys & the community of Joppa. He had a special way of making people feel like he cherished their presence in his life. David love of life did not come to end with his death.It has just begun. It is written in John 5:24 ``truly, truly, I say unto you, whomever hears my word and believes him who sent has eternal life. He does not come into judgement but has passed from death to life.’’
He leaves to cherish his memory, four children, Danielle Allison of Houston,Texas ,Marissa Allison Farmer (Chris) of Waco, Texas, Mentrall Ellison-Hudson (Victor) and Marcus Ellsion both of Dallas,Texas; three siblings Louis ``Van`` Allison (Peggy), Jo Ann Harris, and Gregory Allison (Felicia); four grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
