Bakari Simon

Bakari Akeen Simon, 24, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018.  Born on July 16, 1993, to Kimana Langrum and Alvin Simon.  He graduated from North Mesquite High School in 2012.  He accepted Christ at a young age at The Living Waters Church.  He enjoyed listening to and making new music and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kimana Langrum; grandfather, Paul Langrum; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Sanders, Sr., & Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Langrum.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his grandparents, Brenda Porter, Greta Rodriguez, & Alvin Simon, Sr.; father, Alvin Simon; sister, Zaria Dixon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
