Annie Lois Parker

Annie Lois Parker was born in Cason, TX to Harve and Eavie Doddy, who she long credited with giving her a strong spiritual foundation and keen business sense. She attended J.J. Rhoades High School in Daingerfield, TX, later relocating to Dallas to continue her education at Bishop College. Annie married George W. Smith, welcoming her much beloved son, Eddie C. Smith (Ruby). Following, she married Arthur J. Parker. All three preceeded her in death.

An avid learner, Annie matriculated at Cedar Valley College and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from Southern Bible Institute. Professionally, Annie worked until retirement as an Insurance Agent for Atlanta Life. A natural communicator, her face-to-face sales approach allowed her to personally connect with her customers each day as she made her rounds. She used these same skills to support the family business, ECS Products.

Annie attended Shady Grove Christian Church in her early years and was a dedicated member of Bonnie View Christian Church for decades, where she supported education, outreach and women's ministries. She was devoutly committed to her faith, sharing the gospel at every opportunity. Even as her earthly light started to fade, the Lord blessed her to be able to sing her favorite hymns and encourage visitors to "Try Jesus", while reminding others to read her favorite scriptures, Roman 10: 9-10.

Annie leaves to cherish her memory, grandsons Kevin (Rene) and Eric (Jocelyn), granddaughters Kristen and Kandyce, Great-grandsons Jayron, Kevin Jr. (Lea), and Nathaniel, Great-granddaughters Telexia, Cristina, Jamaya, Katelyn, Raven and Khloe, Great Great-grandsons Jayron Jr. and Kevin III and Great Great-granddaughters Jaylah and Janiyah.
