On October 28, 2026, God in His infinite Wisdom saw fit to call from our midst, one of his Children, Alveree Nelson Jr. Alveree Nelson was born on May 30,1941 in Greenville, Texas, to the Parentage of Bertha Bell and Alveree Nelson Sr. Alveree graduated from Carver High School in Greenville, TX and entered the work force. Alveree was known as a very good person and a dedicated employee. Alveree was equally as dedicated to his family. Alveree was a loving, strong willed, a compassionate person and a devoted Father, Son and Brother. Staying with his trend of strength and stamina, Alveree sought the ultimate strength of God and joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, where he was a member until his health failed. Alveree was preceded in death by: His Father, Alveree Nelson Sr., his Mother, Bertha Petty and his four brothers, Chaise Nelson, Terry Nelson, Calvin Nelson and Raymond Nelson. Alveree was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Majorie Wade-Nelson, where they raised a blended family. Alveree Nelson Jr. leaves to mourn him: Wife Majorie Wade-Nelson, two children Alton Nelson and Janet Nelson of California, one bonus sister, Catherine Crowe (Tank) of Dallas, TX. Two brothers: Kenneth W. Wilkins Sr., of Duncanville, TX, and Johnny W. Petty of Dallas, TX. Nephews: Kenneth W. Wilkins, Jr., Kristopher Wilkins, and one great nephew Omar Blair. One niece Brittany Wilkins and one loving sister-in-law, Vivian Wilkins. Cynthia Wade, Willie Wade, Jamia, The Wade family, and a host of grandchildren, cousin, family and friends.
