Adrian accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Good Street Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Adrian received his formal education in the Dallas Public School system and was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington Technical high school class of 1967. Later, he worked for United Insurance Company of America.  He retired from insurance in 2000. After receiving his CDL license Adrian worked for Dallas County for 16 years, before retiring in May of 2017. Adrian was first ordained as a Deacon in 1988 under the late Reverend L. J. Taylor pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. He remained a faithful member of Macedonia until 2008 and then he felt the call from God to join North Park Missionary Baptist Church.
